Architectural Projection
Each step built on to the next throughout the whole semester to familiarize the students with every element of architectural drawing and rendering.

S t e p   O n e
Draw one composition of drafting tools in elevation, section, and in movement. Film the process to track your movement as you draw.
S t e p   T w o
Review the history of the drawing throughout the films and select 20 still images that define key moments in the process of making this drawing, using the still images, develop a storyboard that defines the story of the drawing in rhino.
S t e p   T h r e e
Identify a 64 cubic inch space in the digital model of the previous project  that explores a sequence of spatial relationships defined by solid and void. Invert the relationship between solid and void in the digital model by constructing the void as solid.
S t e p   F o u r
View the physical model you have created and select an interesting point of view to study. Using the Rhino model, derive horizontal plan cut and vertical section-elevation in order to begin the perspective construction.
S t e p   F i v e
Create another perspective on mat board and cut into and alter the board to show key aspects of the drawing, reinforcing the space of perception, the method of projection and the elements of perspective.
S t e p   S i x
Use all previous drawings and models to create a perspective sequence, consider the possibilities of presenting space through line and image as collage, also consider the layers of the project this semester indicating the current state of the work, a memory of process and a proposal for a space and a way of working.
